Associations.

Good day everyone. I want to share with you today one thing that is very much important in our lives especially in this time and age.  It's about associations. It is not everyone your paths get to cross that are ordained  to be in your life.  It is not everyone dressed in the robe of what you desire that are the originals or that are meant to remain in your life. You see, in this time and age where people dress to impress and speak for respect, we need the wisdom of God and the spirit of discernment to dicifer between who is true and who is not. To dicifer between who should remain in our space/sphereand who shouldn't. Just like a human would put on the Mickey Mouse costume, there are people who create impressions that are not necessarily who they really are, there are also those who seem like should remain around our lives but in the real sense, they're meant to be far from us. King Jehoshaphat was a man who delighted in the ways of God. 2Chronicles. 17:3-6 Sometimes,

GODS PATTERN OF HEALING //PT2

Hello everyone. I hope you have had a great week.  Mine was fine, bless God. Been struggling with laziness to write this post but I'm glad I finally wrote it. I'm excited to share with you these points on the things that happen when our hearts are turned to God. It's beautiful, the things that happen, when we turn our hearts completely to God. Joel. 2:18-32 18  Then the  Lord  was jealous  for his land      and took pity  on his people. 19  The  Lord  replied [ a ]  to them: “I am sending you grain, new wine  and olive oil,      enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you      an object of scorn  to the nations. 20  “I will drive the northern horde  far from you,      pushing it into a parched and barren land; its eastern ranks will drown in the Dead Sea      and its western ranks in the Mediterranean Sea. And its stench  will go up;      its smell will rise.” Surely he has done great things! 21       Do not be afraid,  land of Juda

GOD'S PATTERN OF HEALING// PT1

Hello everyone. I hope your week has been good? We'll be going on a journey through the book of Joel. I hope to expose certain things about God's pattern of doing things. You would have to pick up your bible to follow closely. God's ways are not the ways of man at all and the book of Joel paints that picture of how things go with God. I mean, the ways of God. I've come to discover that the ways of God remain the same from generation to generation. Though the situations may be different  but God's patterns are the same yesterday, today and forever. For this reason, the people of the land of Judah in the book of Joel were told to make known the ways of God from generation to generation. Joel 1:3 -  "Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation." Things had gone in disarray on the land and it's a reflection somehow of how things happen in our individual lives. A time came in Judah when

Something about "The Will Of God"

1 Peter 2:15-18 " For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear ; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward." ( emphasis by me)  Peace.

A promise

Who is a king A king is royalty: thats honor. A king is in charge of a particular area of space/ people :   A king has the final say over the people in an area: that's influence. A king is a custodian of wealth: thats riches. That position in itself is a place of power. Isaiah 49:23: Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust  of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me. " Simply, there are people on this earth who stand as kings even though they don't occupy the position of a king. In the sense, they've got power, influence, riches and even expanses of land that are way beyond your comprehension.  They may live in regular houses, ride regular cars and relate with regular people but they are much more than they reveal. They would usually even sit next to you in a public place. Basically, this scr

The Person of Jesus

Its so beautiful the works that Jesus did for the world; the transformation he has brought to humanity. Hebrews 7:26  says - For such an high priest became us, who is holy , harmless , undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. One of the things thats amazing about Jesus are the words used to describe his person.  The quality of a thing most times is determined by who presents it. The person qualifies the gift. Jesus is described as   holy , harmless , undefiled , separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens.  What does Holy mean? Holy means dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; sacred. The Hebrew word for holy is “qodesh” and means “apartness, set-apartness, separateness, sacredness”  What does harmless mean? Harmless - without the power or desire to do harm;innocuous:    unable or unlikely to hurt anyone or cause damage Something that is harmless does not have any bad effects, especially on people's health. Wha

The Tabernacles

So i want to tell you about Jesus and some of the things He did for you and I. I'm a firm believer in understanding the details of why we call ourselves Christians and while I continue to grow in knowledge and understanding of this , i'm glad to share some of the things i've learned with you. Okay, so staraight into the word. The typical idea of worship before Jesus came was one in which there was no direct access to God especially as a Father, which is his utmost desire. This was not pleasing to God at all, which was why He sent Jesus. The order was such that there was a tabernacle where the priest and high priest would go,so that the sins of every person would be covered up i.e for attonement of sins. There were three chambers in the tabernacle for atonning of sins: The first chamber - the priest went in to perform services. The second chamber- the high priest went alone, once a year. He would go with blood for his sins and that of the people. The third cham

TablesDoTurn

So we all have tables right now where we eat from, FIGURATIVELY That table may be a table of joy and sadness or gloom and sorrow.  It could be a table of plenty or of scarcity. Just that experience that you may be having at this point in your life. Modecai (in the bible),had his table at the gate of the palace. Daniel's table was in a land of captivity. Away from his loved ones. Unsure and uncertain what his life would turn out to be in the next second. Totally at the mercy of the King Nebuchadnezzar. Joseph's table was initially before his Father, and then to the pit,and then to slavery, and then to Portiphars house. He became a ruling slave and afterwards a ruling freeman.  One thing made all the difference though, the God factor made all the difference for these men. And so I don't know what it is thats  the table before you,I'm glad to announce to you that tables do turn, and though weeping may endure for a night... Joy comes in the morning. And though joy may

CHRIST INSIDER✔️✅✔️

Colossians 2:6-10  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power : So today, I'm going to be talking about the motivation behind the Christian walk.  What has been your motivation? What has been the motivation behind your christian walk? What is the motivation behind you going to church or leaving that bad habit? What is the reason you should stop going to that place that's totally against the will of God or your growth.  What should be the motivation behind letting go of certain things that are not of God? People come up with philosophies and ideo

Daniel

Daniel is one of my favorite characters in the bible and I will be sharing something interesting about him today. Something about his life in Babylon that I think, at some point or the other, we all find ourselves there. So often, we tend to desire a change in our physical state when heaven desires a change of our inward state. Israel, God's favorite, wyas taken into captivity. Daniel and 3 other Kingdom crazy guys were a part of them and  their decision not to eat the kings meal was an epic one. These Hebrew young men had begun to do alot of exploits in the land of Babylon.  As at chapter 6,they had 1-Grown to be chubbier and freshly looking than those who chose to eat the kings meal 2-They had prayed in agreement not just to know but interpret the Kings dream 3- Daniel had been promoted into been a leader together with his friends 4- They had proved beyond a doubt to the King Nebuchadnezzar that God in heaven was God above all. And much more things. It's interestin

A Lesson from the Life of Gideon //check again with God

Hello people, how has your week been? Mine is going well. So, while I was trusting God on what to share with you, something about Gideons came to heart. Israel, which was God's beloved, went against God's heart for them so God allowed the Mideanites, which was their enemy, to begin working against them. An angel appears to Gideon and after they had spoken for sometime, Gideon wanted to be sure who was speaking and he asked for a sign. Judges 6:20-24  And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so. Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight. And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an

Guest Post

Hello people,i've got something new for us today.  Its a guest post from a sister from another mother, dated back to sometime in August.  I'm sure you'll be blessed in some way.😃.It blessed me. Enjoy the read😘. *******Hi Everyone, It's an awesome privilege to be here sharing with you guys. This blog has been a blessing to me personally and I'm so proud of what Dr Grace 😍is doing here. She invited me to share from my heart and I have been pondering on what to share because I like to avoid situations like this 😃 but God keeps pushing me and breaking my walls. I was at a hangout for young leaders yesterday and it was an awesome time in God's presence with God's people. One thing I've learnt in recent times is the beauty of growing together with power minds chasing after Christ and making an impact in our world for the kingdom. In these days and times, a whole lot is going on and we cannot run this race alone. We need a support system to help us g

Singles

Hi everyone.  How are you today? I'm doing very okay, ensuring I put up all the posts I have stored up. I could not exactly find a title for this post but I knew I wanted to share it. So I settled with 'Singles'😁 and I'm hoping you enjoy it. 💜 Apostle Paul was talking about the unbelieving husband/wife and the believing husband or wife. He says and specifically mentions that it wasn’t God speaking but him, that if the unbelieving spouse is willing to remain in with the believing spouse, then so be it. (1Cor.7:12-15) He makes mention of the married and unmarried and what their life or days is supposed to look like. It was interesting to me the way he spelt things out for singles. A service to God is how to live out right. He said   ‘…the unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit…’ In Romans.12:1-2, he puts it this way ‘I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodie

Hi, hi. So I’ve been doing a little study on the book of 1Corinthians and I thought to share some intriguing lessons. Apostle Paul here was addressing several questions from the Corinthian church. I like how he differentiated what his spirit, which of course was mature, and what the Spirit of God said. He said to the unmarried and widows to remain single, however, he acknowledges that its infact a gift to be able to do that. He then advised that its better to get married than to burn with passion.(1Cor.7:7-9) Apostle Paul clearly states as by the Lord that a wife should not put away her husband, and even if she will, she should stay single. I’m guessing that it was more of a record that women were the ones that left their husbands for one reason or the other. This is a pointer for we as Christians to make a constant effort to develop ourselves in key areas of our lives. And been intentional about making the necessary adjustments for a healthy life/family. There’s an obvious hig

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. I im

Faithfulness

Today I want to share something about faithfulness. Faithfulness, according to google,  is the concept of unfailingly remaining  loyal  to someone or something, and putting that loyalty into consistent practice regardless of extenuating circumstances. Literally, it is the state of being full of  faith  in the sense of steady devotion to a person, thing or concept. In my understanding, it is being consistently committed to a course or person regardless of what comes your way. I want to focus on the things that we have been called to do or the things that we find per time to do. Sometimes we can get so lackadaisical about stuff when no one is watching or when others are playing their part. Sometimes its really because we don’t have enough drive to do what we really want to do. Sometimes, factors beyond our control can be the cause. Sometimes its because we have not exactly decided to take up responsibility by ourselves. Sometimes we don’t have knowledge enough to carry through

Unusual Stuff

Today, I’m going to share something very unusual of me to share. Its simply what God has placed in my heart to share. Holiness.  I’m continually understanding holiness to be a honest walk with God and an openness to do his will regardless of the things that are around. Its simply to be set apart. To be separate. To be distinct. Thus separating ones self from everything that defiles. Its identifying what God would have you do and giving yourself to it. Its allowing God to have his full way in your lifes- that’s like a surrender to God’s way of doing stuff. Malachia.3:3 says And he shall sit  as  a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.  Our heavenly father wants to make us into the persons he would have us be-Holy. Releasing who we are to his style of doing things. When Love calls us to be holy, we can be sure that it’s very possible

TWEENTY three (2)

Yipee!!! I thought I should write about my birthday. So people who I had not communicated with in a while flooded my timeline with birthday wishes and it was very overwhelming. I was especially thrilled by the several words that came as people sent their wishes and prayers that came especially on phone. Most of them words were words I had never heard them say and they were oh very soothing words. I’d be sincere with you I wish that day never ended. I wish I could just pause time and freeze up in that day. There really no plan to mark it on my path. I was just going to sit gently in my house and do whatever comes up spontaneously and that was exactly what happened on my path. The height of it was hearing from people I had not heard from in a long time. That was just lite!! I could literally answer that scripture where GOD SAID- Behold I am doing a new thing, can’t you perceive it?- Oh yes I did; I did perceive new stuff, and I know it was just God doing His thing. I felt

The Parent Factor!

We live in a time and age where everyone wants to define things by themselves, have minds of their own and make decisions or take steps all by themselves without been interrupted in anyway. Whilst this is a great feat, it begins to tilt in the wrong direction when certain elders cannot intervene in the affairs of your life. Today I want to share about the role of parents on our lives. I’ve been doing a bit of bible study in that direction and its incredible the light that keeps sinning in my path. Samson in the bible was a great man. The bible says that he was filled with the Holy Spirit from his birth. He was known right from time that he was going t be a super strong man in the community. He grew up to be one of Israel’s judges. However when it was time for him to take a woman for a wife, he went for a philistine woman. His warned him not to go for the philistine woman because the philistines were pagans. However he refused. I like how contemporary English Version puts it, it say

TWEENTY – THREE

This post is exactly one month dew. :) I had it on written out, however I couldn't post it on my bog because of issues with my laptop. Its amazing that it is already one year since my last birthday. It was during my internship year as a medical house officer.  I had ordered some cake to do a little something but a beautiful soul decided to add one more to it saying I cannot be giving people small small pieces of cake. (lol) That year was a very eventful year for me personally. I like to have this thing with God where we get down to have a word or song that marks the year. I stumbled on this song by bethel music-  Reckless Love . The lyrics of this song sits so well with me. I especially like the part that says- ‘…there’s no shadow you won’t light up, mountain you won’t climb up  coming after me; There’s no wall you won’t kick down, lie you won’t tear down , coming after me…’ It was more like my anthem song. The year was full of a whole lot of good and gloom. I
