GODS PATTERN OF HEALING //PT2

Hello everyone. I hope you have had a great week.  Mine was fine, bless God. Been struggling with laziness to write this post but I'm glad I finally wrote it. I'm excited to share with you these points on the things that happen when our hearts are turned to God. It's beautiful, the things that happen,when we turn our hearts completely to God.

Joel. 2:18-32
18 Then the Lord was jealous for his land
    and took pity on his people.
19 The Lord replied[a] to them:
“I am sending you grain, new wine and olive oil,
    enough to satisfy you fully;
never again will I make you
    an object of scorn to the nations.
20 “I will drive the northern horde far from you,
    pushing it into a parched and barren land;
its eastern ranks will drown in the Dead Sea
    and its western ranks in the Mediterranean Sea.
And its stench will go up;
    its smell will rise.”
Surely he has done great things!
21     Do not be afraid, land of Judah;
    be glad and rejoice.
Surely the Lord has done great things!
22     Do not be afraid, you wild animals,
    for the pastures in the wilderness are becoming green.
The trees are bearing their fruit;
    the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.
23 Be glad, people of Zion,
    rejoice in the Lord your God,
for he has given you the autumn rains
    because he is faithful.
He sends you abundant showers,
    both autumn and spring rains, as before.
24 The threshing floors will be filled with grain;
    the vats will overflow with new wineand oil.
25 “I will repay you for the years the locustshave eaten
    the great locust and the young locust,
    the other locusts and the locust swarm[b]
my great army that I sent among you.
26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full,
    and you will praise the name of theLord your God,
    who has worked wonders for you;
never again will my people be shamed.
27 Then you will know that I am in Israel,
    that I am the Lord your God,
    and that there is no other;
never again will my people be shamed.
28 “And afterward,
    I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
    your old men will dream dreams,
    your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
    I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens
    and on the earth,
    blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
    before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
32 And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
    there will be deliverance,
    as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
    whom the Lord calls.[c]

 In Joel ch2 Vs 18-27,we see a series of new things that happen when anyone turns to God.
1The Lord will be zealous for such a person-vs18. Meaning, God will be all out there causing things to work together for the person.

2-God will answer their prayers and send a supply, not just enough to get by but to satisfy them. Vs19 and take away their shame.

3-God will put an huge distance between that individual and those who trouble him, vs20.
4-The other things around such individual will also receive life and be restored vs21-24.

5-God will hasten processes and make abundant supply vs25-26. God will endow such person with himself. Vs28.

6-God himself will fight for such person, ch3:7-8.

So, are you pursuing after God? Please keep at it. Are you weary?  Ask God for some strength.  Are you completely standing aloof? Have a rethink!

Jn. 10:10 says Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly.

Life only gets better with the TRUE pursuit of God through Jesus Christ, when our hearts are turned truly to him!!

Peace and Love,

Dr. Grace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Gods word as our reality

If anything would go through our spirit to our soul and then to reality,its going to pass through our mind. And if anything is going to have an impact on the spirit it would go through the mind. And so the mind is the place where a thing really is made or mared. It's where we either get an headway or remain stranded/on the same spot/can't see a way. It's the battlefield as it's often put. 2Cor.10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; This passage makes us to see that imaginations and thoughts have a way of exhausting themselves above the knowledge of God in our minds and we are the ones to do the job of making sure the word of God is the status quo of our mind...finding out what the word of God says and making it preeminence over and above any other thought. re-enforcing what the word of God says. Capturing God's idea(word) in ou...

Happy New Year.

It's good to write you for the first time in the new year. This time of the year when new decisions are made,new strategies,new resolutions and etc. Whilst all these are very good it's important not to forget what is most important  for the journey ahead. Moses, the superman assigned by God to lead Gods very own people was not about to do so without asking Gods presence to go with him. Exodus 33:15   And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. I want to point your attention to intentionally asking God to go with you into the year. He's always with you no doubt,however there is a side of God that walks with us and we experience when we ask Him to walk with us. James 4:8a NKJV- 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.  You're going to need God in everything you do this year and in as much as He has given us a promise of his presence; Pr.3: 6 says "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths....
