GODS PATTERN OF HEALING //PT2

Hello everyone. I hope you have had a great week.  Mine was fine, bless God. Been struggling with laziness to write this post but I'm glad I finally wrote it. I'm excited to share with you these points on the things that happen when our hearts are turned to God. It's beautiful, the things that happen,when we turn our hearts completely to God.

Joel. 2:18-32
18 Then the Lord was jealous for his land
    and took pity on his people.
19 The Lord replied[a] to them:
“I am sending you grain, new wine and olive oil,
    enough to satisfy you fully;
never again will I make you
    an object of scorn to the nations.
20 “I will drive the northern horde far from you,
    pushing it into a parched and barren land;
its eastern ranks will drown in the Dead Sea
    and its western ranks in the Mediterranean Sea.
And its stench will go up;
    its smell will rise.”
Surely he has done great things!
21     Do not be afraid, land of Judah;
    be glad and rejoice.
Surely the Lord has done great things!
22     Do not be afraid, you wild animals,
    for the pastures in the wilderness are becoming green.
The trees are bearing their fruit;
    the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.
23 Be glad, people of Zion,
    rejoice in the Lord your God,
for he has given you the autumn rains
    because he is faithful.
He sends you abundant showers,
    both autumn and spring rains, as before.
24 The threshing floors will be filled with grain;
    the vats will overflow with new wineand oil.
25 “I will repay you for the years the locustshave eaten
    the great locust and the young locust,
    the other locusts and the locust swarm[b]
my great army that I sent among you.
26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full,
    and you will praise the name of theLord your God,
    who has worked wonders for you;
never again will my people be shamed.
27 Then you will know that I am in Israel,
    that I am the Lord your God,
    and that there is no other;
never again will my people be shamed.
28 “And afterward,
    I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
    your old men will dream dreams,
    your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants, both men and women,
    I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
30 I will show wonders in the heavens
    and on the earth,
    blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
    before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
32 And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
    there will be deliverance,
    as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
    whom the Lord calls.[c]

 In Joel ch2 Vs 18-27,we see a series of new things that happen when anyone turns to God.
1The Lord will be zealous for such a person-vs18. Meaning, God will be all out there causing things to work together for the person.

2-God will answer their prayers and send a supply, not just enough to get by but to satisfy them. Vs19 and take away their shame.

3-God will put an huge distance between that individual and those who trouble him, vs20.
4-The other things around such individual will also receive life and be restored vs21-24.

5-God will hasten processes and make abundant supply vs25-26. God will endow such person with himself. Vs28.

6-God himself will fight for such person, ch3:7-8.

So, are you pursuing after God? Please keep at it. Are you weary?  Ask God for some strength.  Are you completely standing aloof? Have a rethink!

Jn. 10:10 says Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly.

Life only gets better with the TRUE pursuit of God through Jesus Christ, when our hearts are turned truly to him!!

Peace and Love,

Dr. Grace.

My Beloved

If you would let me walk through the corners of your heart   I will take the thorns away with anesthesia enough to take you through I will shine my light in the path for your eyes to see and your feet to walk I will wrap you round in the warmth of my embrace From the cold that gives you frost bite in the feet and a chest pain even on a warm day I know you let some love in the left you broken And now it’s difficult to catch the pieces that remain because your strength is gone I see it all in your eyes, Even though you try to make it seem like you have it all together You have been bought with a prize I took all the brakes in my heart to see you whole I got striped and left in the cold so you could find warmth in me (would be hid in me and stay warm) I’m not about to let you go through all that trauma (again). I did it already, for you, for all So that when you pass through the rivers, you will have me around When you pass though waters, it ...

Meddling?

     According to the  Webster Dictionary, to meddle means to interest oneself in what is not one's concern. We live in a time and age where compromise is almost the order of the day. And especially because the concept of 'grace' has been  quite extreme,there's been a lopsided way of life. Grace in itself makes us warriors for us to uphold the standard of God  2Tim.2:4 says  Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. Some of us Christians are awear of the things that are not in keeping with truly walking with God and yet continuing in it with the pride of heart that you know God to an extent. And whilst God is a merciful God,youd be a joker to expect him to entrust parts of him to you if  you keep handling your knowledge of him in unrighteousness. There are areas of God and depts of him that we may never be able to access because of this. Our walk with God is suppo...

Faithfulness

Today I want to share something about faithfulness. Faithfulness,according to google,  is the concept of unfailingly remaining  loyal  to someone or something, and putting that loyalty into consistent practice regardless of extenuating circumstances. Literally, it is the state of being full of  faith  in the sense of steady devotion to a person, thing or concept. In my understanding, it is being consistently committed to a course or person regardless of what comes your way. I want to focus on the things that we have been called to do or the things that we find per time to do. Sometimes we can get so lackadaisical about stuff when no one is watching or when others are playing their part. Sometimes its really because we don’t have enough drive to do what we really want to do. Sometimes, factors beyond our control can be the cause. Sometimes its because we have not exactly decided to take up responsibility by ourselves. Sometimes we don’t have knowledge ...
