GOD'S PATTERN OF HEALING// PT1

Hello everyone. I hope your week has been good? We'll be going on a journey through the book of Joel. I hope to expose certain things about God's pattern of doing things. You would have to pick up your bible to follow closely. God's ways are not the ways of man at all and the book of Joel paints that picture of how things go with God. I mean, the ways of God. I've come to discover that the ways of God remain the same from generation to generation. Though the situations may be different  but God's patterns are the same yesterday, today and forever. For this reason, the people of the land of Judah in the book of Joel were told to make known the ways of God from generation to generation. Joel 1:3 -  "Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation." Things had gone in disarray on the land and it's a reflection somehow of how things happen in our individual lives. A time came in Judah when

Something about "The Will Of God"

1 Peter 2:15-18 " For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear ; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward." ( emphasis by me)  Peace.

Who is a king A king is royalty: thats honor. A king is in charge of a particular area of space/ people :   A king has the final say over the people in an area: that's influence. A king is a custodian of wealth: thats riches. That position in itself is a place of power. Isaiah 49:23: Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust  of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me. " Simply, there are people on this earth who stand as kings even though they don't occupy the position of a king. In the sense, they've got power, influence, riches and even expanses of land that are way beyond your comprehension.  They may live in regular houses, ride regular cars and relate with regular people but they are much more than they reveal. They would usually even sit next to you in a public place. Basically, this scr

The Person of Jesus

Its so beautiful the works that Jesus did for the world; the transformation he has brought to humanity. Hebrews 7:26  says - For such an high priest became us, who is holy , harmless , undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens. One of the things thats amazing about Jesus are the words used to describe his person.  The quality of a thing most times is determined by who presents it. The person qualifies the gift. Jesus is described as   holy , harmless , undefiled , separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens.  What does Holy mean? Holy means dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; sacred. The Hebrew word for holy is “qodesh” and means “apartness, set-apartness, separateness, sacredness”  What does harmless mean? Harmless - without the power or desire to do harm;innocuous:    unable or unlikely to hurt anyone or cause damage Something that is harmless does not have any bad effects, especially on people's health. Wha

The Tabernacles

So i want to tell you about Jesus and some of the things He did for you and I. I'm a firm believer in understanding the details of why we call ourselves Christians and while I continue to grow in knowledge and understanding of this , i'm glad to share some of the things i've learned with you. Okay, so staraight into the word. The typical idea of worship before Jesus came was one in which there was no direct access to God especially as a Father, which is his utmost desire. This was not pleasing to God at all, which was why He sent Jesus. The order was such that there was a tabernacle where the priest and high priest would go,so that the sins of every person would be covered up i.e for attonement of sins. There were three chambers in the tabernacle for atonning of sins: The first chamber - the priest went in to perform services. The second chamber- the high priest went alone, once a year. He would go with blood for his sins and that of the people. The third cham

TablesDoTurn

So we all have tables right now where we eat from, FIGURATIVELY That table may be a table of joy and sadness or gloom and sorrow.  It could be a table of plenty or of scarcity. Just that experience that you may be having at this point in your life. Modecai (in the bible),had his table at the gate of the palace. Daniel's table was in a land of captivity. Away from his loved ones. Unsure and uncertain what his life would turn out to be in the next second. Totally at the mercy of the King Nebuchadnezzar. Joseph's table was initially before his Father, and then to the pit,and then to slavery, and then to Portiphars house. He became a ruling slave and afterwards a ruling freeman.  One thing made all the difference though, the God factor made all the difference for these men. And so I don't know what it is thats  the table before you,I'm glad to announce to you that tables do turn, and though weeping may endure for a night... Joy comes in the morning. And though joy may
