The Tabernacles

So i want to tell you about Jesus and some of the things He did for you and I.
I'm a firm believer in understanding the details of why we call ourselves Christians and while I continue to grow in knowledge and understanding of this , i'm glad to share some of the things i've learned with you.
Okay, so staraight into the word.
The typical idea of worship before Jesus came was one in which there was no direct access to God especially as a Father, which is his utmost desire.

This was not pleasing to God at all, which was why He sent Jesus.

The order was such that there was a tabernacle where the priest and high priest would go,so that the sins of every person would be covered up i.e for attonement of sins.

There were three chambers in the tabernacle for atonning of sins:

The first chamber - the priest went in to perform services.

The second chamber- the high priest went alone, once a year. He would go with blood for his sins and that of the people.

The third chamber-the Holiest of all, which no one had access to.

The only way that our conscience could be cleared entirely from sin and the effect of sin was for an atonement to be made in the Holiest of All.

Heb. 9:8 makes it clear that the HolySpirit indicated that the way to the Holiest was not yet revealed.

Hebrews 9:7-9 " But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a picture for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;"

Jesus came to take the place of highpriest and changed the format of things. He made all the difference in making us one with God:

Hebrews 9:11-14 "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"

Jesus offered himself to God through the HolySpirit.  Entered into heaven(the greater and more perfect tabernacle)  in our behalf. He didn't present himself with the blood of animals but of himself. How magnificent? And for this reason, you and I can appear before God and serve him truly. You and I can access God directlyπŸ™πŸ™ .

Jesus is just awesome.
I love you guysπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Grace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Hello people,i've got something new for us today.  Its a guest post from a sister from another mother, dated back to sometime in August.  I'm sure you'll be blessed in some way.πŸ˜ƒ.It blessed me. Enjoy the read😘. *******Hi Everyone, It's an awesome privilege to be here sharing with you guys. This blog has been a blessing to me personally and I'm so proud of what Dr Grace 😍is doing here. She invited me to share from my heart and I have been pondering on what to share because I like to avoid situations like this πŸ˜ƒ but God keeps pushing me and breaking my walls. I was at a hangout for young leaders yesterday and it was an awesome time in God's presence with God's people. One thing I've learnt in recent times is the beauty of growing together with power minds chasing after Christ and making an impact in our world for the kingdom. In these days and times, a whole lot is going on and we cannot run this race alone. We need a support system to help us g...

Fan to Flame

It’s interesting how life comes in phases, and each one can make you a shadow of the previous in various aspects of life, because of the emphasis of different seasons. There’s definitely someone reading this and it appears like a lot of your efforts and attention is on your family and its smooth running. On the other hand, your career may be taking the most of your concentration in this season, attaining mastery and relevance. It’s interesting how for different persons, God plants one or two people who tend to bring to the fore how that certain things should not be buried in the midst of life’s activities. Paul sends a letter to Timothy to highlight an important aspect of his existence, which was to paying attention to the deposits of God's Spirit in him. This was highlighted in the scripture below: 2Tim. 1:6 (NIV) . " For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  7 For the Spirit God gave us does not ...
