The Tabernacles

So i want to tell you about Jesus and some of the things He did for you and I.
I'm a firm believer in understanding the details of why we call ourselves Christians and while I continue to grow in knowledge and understanding of this , i'm glad to share some of the things i've learned with you.
Okay, so staraight into the word.
The typical idea of worship before Jesus came was one in which there was no direct access to God especially as a Father, which is his utmost desire.

This was not pleasing to God at all, which was why He sent Jesus.

The order was such that there was a tabernacle where the priest and high priest would go,so that the sins of every person would be covered up i.e for attonement of sins.

There were three chambers in the tabernacle for atonning of sins:

The first chamber - the priest went in to perform services.

The second chamber- the high priest went alone, once a year. He would go with blood for his sins and that of the people.

The third chamber-the Holiest of all, which no one had access to.

The only way that our conscience could be cleared entirely from sin and the effect of sin was for an atonement to be made in the Holiest of All.

Heb. 9:8 makes it clear that the HolySpirit indicated that the way to the Holiest was not yet revealed.

Hebrews 9:7-9 " But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a picture for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;"

Jesus came to take the place of highpriest and changed the format of things. He made all the difference in making us one with God:

Hebrews 9:11-14 "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"

Jesus offered himself to God through the HolySpirit.  Entered into heaven(the greater and more perfect tabernacle)  in our behalf. He didn't present himself with the blood of animals but of himself. How magnificent? And for this reason, you and I can appear before God and serve him truly. You and I can access God directly🙏🙏 .

Jesus is just awesome.
I love you guys💜💜

Grace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Thankfulness

Life can get so boring, especially when you are fixed in a routine, and you're just at that point where all you want to do is break out. I mean, try out something out of the norm, like eat a different kind of food,or have a break from your stressful work,or simply get to see and relate with a whole new set of people. This was somewhat the case with the Israelites in Num11:31-35. Numbers 11:31-35- 31  Now a  wind went out from the  Lord , and it brought quail from the sea and left  them  fluttering near the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and about a day’s journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the ground.  32  And the people stayed up all that day, all night, and all the next day, and gathered the quail (he who gathered least gathered ten  homers); and they spread  them  out for themselves all around the camp.  33  But while the  meat  was  still between ...

God's Speakings.

And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: – Genesis 26:2 Isaac was one of those bible characters that had a life patterned after the voice of God. He was about to leave where he was resident for another country because of the famine they were experiencing in the country where he resided. However, his plan was interrupted by God's voice. I'm intrigued by the fact that God specifically said He will tell him where to dwell. This challenges me because I've had this desire and still desire to have that "hearing relationship" with God. I see this and believe God wants all His loved children to actually have that kind of relationship with Him. God wants to tell everyone of His sons and daughters something, however, not everyone is going to hear Him because not everyone has trained themselves to do so. All the time, for all situations in our lives, the Lord is willing to tell us something. The questio...
