Guest Post

Hello people,i've got something new for us today.  Its a guest post from a sister from another mother, dated back to sometime in August.  I'm sure you'll be blessed in some way.😃.It blessed me.
Enjoy the read😘.

*******Hi Everyone,
It's an awesome privilege to be here sharing with you guys.
This blog has been a blessing to me personally and I'm so proud of what Dr Grace 😍is doing here. She invited me to share from my heart and I have been pondering on what to share because I like to avoid situations like this 😃 but God keeps pushing me and breaking my walls.

I was at a hangout for young leaders yesterday and it was an awesome time in God's presence with God's people. One thing I've learnt in recent times is the beauty of growing together with power minds chasing after Christ and making an impact in our world for the kingdom.
In these days and times, a whole lot is going on and we cannot run this race alone. We need a support system to help us grow into all that God has ordained for us. People with similar mind set and passion as ours centred on Christ. It makes the journey a lot easier.

So back to what I learnt yesterday, a verse of the bible stayed with me and I've been meditating on it since then.

"We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God ’s purpose prevails."   Proverbs 19:21
 MSG

As a young girl just about starting my career journey, I have lots of plans laid out. I have even been charged in several meetings I've attended to have goals and plans; 1 year, 2 years, 5 years and even 10 years. So I set out thinking about the future and making serious plans so I'm not seen as lazy or not sure about what I want in life.
I'm sure this is not peculiar to me because  I've seen a lot of young people go through this same path in life chasing after their dreams, wanting to make something out of life and most common reason is we all want to be better than our parents and peers. It's all a self ambitious race to outrun eachother and be successful in our chosen paths.

So there is a lot of brainstorming going on, permutations on the best path to success and making money. This is the main cause of the high trend of young people now doing jobs they are not happy with simply because it pays the bills and gives them an opportunity to live the kind of life they wish for. It's more like chasing shadows because when the day is over they reflect and see that they are not truly happy. This leads to more work or engaging in various devices to fill this void. This dissatisfaction is the major cause of depression, drug abuse and high rate of immorality we experience in our world today.
Thank God for His word from where we draw wisdom and strength, the end of that verse says God's purpose prevails. This means God has a purpose for man and in the midst of all the plans we make, His purpose will eventually stand.  So while we go round in circles chasing life, God is patiently waiting for us to turn to Him for His purpose to prevail. This is because no matter how far we go, His purpose will be done. So we are the ones delaying it's fulfilment by not aligning with His purpose.

So Faith are you saying we shouldn't make plans or have a vision? Of course not. I'm simply saying in the midst of making plans, as believers walking step by step with Christ, those plans are inspired by Him and placed in our hearts, so it becomes easier to surrender those plans to God and be open to have Him come in at any point. Let Him take the wheel and be by His side as He guides you through this journey of life.
He knows the end from the beginning, He has our future in His hands so definitely He is in a better position to make plans for us than we would ever make. It makes the journey more beautiful and free from avoidable accidents.
In conclusion, I encourage you this week to allow God direct your plans. Stop brainstorming options and plans on your own and let Him guide you through. He has the plans in His hands and is more than willing to show you only if you will ask.
Have a beautiful week ahead.
Thanks for having me once again.
Love you

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Gods word as our reality

If anything would go through our spirit to our soul and then to reality, its going to pass through our mind. And if anything is going to have an impact on the spirit it would go through the mind. And so the mind is the place where a thing really is made or mared. It's where we either get an headway or remain stranded/on the same spot/can't see a way. It's the battlefield as it's often put. 2Cor.10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; This passage makes us to see that imaginations and thoughts have a way of exhausting themselves above the knowledge of God in our minds and we are the ones to do the job of making sure the word of God is the status quo of our mind...finding out what the word of God says and making it preeminence over and above any other thought. re-enforcing what the word of God says. Capturing God's idea(word) in ou...

Happy New Year.

It's good to write you for the first time in the new year. This time of the year when new decisions are made, new strategies, new resolutions and etc. Whilst all these are very good it's important not to forget what is most important  for the journey ahead. Moses, the superman assigned by God to lead Gods very own people was not about to do so without asking Gods presence to go with him. Exodus 33:15   And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. I want to point your attention to intentionally asking God to go with you into the year. He's always with you no doubt, however there is a side of God that walks with us and we experience when we ask Him to walk with us. James 4:8a NKJV- 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.  You're going to need God in everything you do this year and in as much as He has given us a promise of his presence; Pr.3: 6 says "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths....
