God, through men

I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who have taken out any bit of their   time to read through any of the write up on this blog. I do not take this for granted at all, and i find it an honor to serve you in this way. Today, I’m just going to share a   big lesson the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to during the festive season. It was in the   form of a question and it changed my perspective about people in a different way. Matthew.2:1- when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king(Herod the Great) magi (wise men) from the east came to Jerusalem, asking 2 “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East   and have come to worship Him….” The wise men had seen a star that represented the birth of Jesus Christ. This they had expected because of what had gone forth through prophesy. It is interesting that they were so excited to see the baby with this star. It was more interesting that it was only three of them that se

Open Doors

This month of November,2021 has been quite an engaging month for me. In the midst of it, I kept pushing forward that which I believe I should share. I'll still put it up though it's the last day of the month.  I usually like to share around the theme of my church, and it's "OPEN DOORS" ...WOW, GLORY💃💃. So the central revelation of God's word as regards this theme to me is from the writings of Apostle Paul. 1Cor.16:9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. It's beautiful that there are great doors, not just doors, opened unto him, which is the case for anyone in Christ. I like that Apostle Paul didn't use the word 'but', he used 'and'. This points out that the adversaries are suppose to be seen as nothing compared to the doors ahead. This is to tell us that he didn't consider them really as an obstacle or obstructions(in a negative sense) to these doors.  We got a synopsis of how he overca

Laughter

H ow would you feel if you had a double promotion, either in school or at work? How would you feel if your car was upgraded to a model far ahead of the one you are using at the moment, Or if you changed status from Leggedis Benz to Mercedes Benz, all at the cost of mercy?   I know what I'm sure going to do-- act startled and then  laugh. The kind of laugh that will switch from amazement to excitement and to everything a laugh can be..   This was the case for Job in the Bible, when God decided to turn his predicament around for good. He had been the wealthiest man of the east as seen in Job.1 : "And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east." Job 1:2-‬3 KJV But as God would have it, he was under a trial that costed him all of his wealth and h

GRACE & PROSPERITY

Yesterday (11/06/2021), I had the great honor and privilege to share the word of God with his people and this word really blessed me as well. This is why I am deciding to share it on here, so that, by God’s grace someone might be blessed by it. My home church has this monthly theme we work with and the word for the month is ‘covenant month of prosperity’. The word that was laid in my heart was as touching the prosperity that emanates from God. First of all, I will attempt to define Prosperity.   According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, it is the condition of being successful or thriving, especially economically. I define it as a condition or state of increasing or moving forward in one or more areas of life. Gene.26:13 paints of picture of prosperity. ‘ The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;' (nkjv) It is true that prosperity largely has been seen to be in the area of finances, but I believe so much that it is beyond money.

When God gives you a bitter cup!

So I am about to share something I got from the scriptures in recent times and it serves as an encouragement for me too.   I am sure you know the story of Jesus and are very familiar with the incidence of one of his disciples cutting the ear of a guard who as among the troop that came to capture Jesus. In John. 18. If not, you can go read up the whole chapter of John.18.   The very verse I would like to sit on is the 11 th . “So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”   The fact that the it was the Father that gave Jesus this cup is something to consider. We all know what the cup is, in case you don’t, it is the cup of having to die on the cross, having to take up the sin of the whole world because God the Father so loved the world and wanted to reconcile all to him.   There are cups that the Father will give to us every once in a while that won’t be similar to the one that   David described

PLANS & PURPOSES

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.   Every individual has plans, but if we would take God’s purpose as our plan, then we will see everything we dreamed come to pass. However, we should also be encouraged that surrendering our plans and life to God should give us an assurance that if we are not walking in a right path, he would reorganize things in such a way that it is H is purposes that will come to accomplishments. Isn’t it exciting to know that we are never left alone? Yes! We are never left alone!   He said to the Israelites in Deut.31:8-And the LORD, he  it is  that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.   HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAJE US.   SHALLOM!
