Singles

Hi everyone.  How are you today?
I'm doing very okay, ensuring I put up all the posts I have stored up.
I could not exactly find a title for this post but I knew I wanted to share it. So I settled with 'Singles'😁 and I'm hoping you enjoy it. 💜

Apostle Paul was talking about the unbelieving husband/wife and the believing husband or wife. He says and specifically mentions that it wasn’t God speaking but him, that if the unbelieving spouse is willing to remain in with the believing spouse, then so be it. (1Cor.7:12-15)

He makes mention of the married and unmarried and what their life or days is supposed to look like. It was interesting to me the way he spelt things out for singles.

A service to God is how to live out right.

He said
‘…the unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit…’

In Romans.12:1-2, he puts it this way ‘I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and perfect, will of God.

The way to present your body holy and acceptable unto God is to render a reasonable service unto him. In order words, there’s something about an active service to God that helps an individual stay holy and acceptable unto God. There’s something about an active service that tailors our moves only in the right direction. Truth is, in the middle of a service to God the vices of hell cannot thrive. I choose the word thrive carefully because he'll may rage but in the midst of the right people its easier to prevail. This is what brings victory over sin. You will have the right set of people around. Your heart will be fixed so much on the Fathers’ business that it would be difficult to fall prey for the devil and you’d be able to recognise his pranks when they arise. And truth is, we grow into understanding this, day by day.
So all the single ladies and guys, y’all go do some God stuff..Input your energy into what God would have you do.Wherever you are, find a place to serve God actively, this is how best to be safe in Christ/the will of the Father. And just in case you’ve been doing stuff because you were told to do it for God, I hope you begin to serve God intentionally and be faithful at it. I pray you find the Joy of serving God too.

Have a great week ahead.

Grace.

  1. Until we have an exclusive experience with Jesus, we can not render a reasonable service. The apostles became fearless when they came to a knowledge of who Jesus really is. Eph 1:17-18, contains a prayer for us. Blessed piece!

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Loyalty To God and His Word

I had the utmost privilege of sharing God's word in my local church, and I pray it blesses you.   Ruth.1:16-17- 16  But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.  17  Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the  Lord  punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”  (NLT)   v  Introduction v  What does it mean to be loyal to the word?(From bible examples) v  Why Loyalty to the word/ Implications of being loyal to the word v  Conclusion v Introduction What does it mean to be a loyal person? Loyalty means being there for someone through the highs and lows, and staying by their side regardless of the circumstances. Loyalty involves accepting and loving someone for who they are, and not threatening to leave them when things become challenging.   Loyal...

God's Speakings.

And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: – Genesis 26:2 Isaac was one of those bible characters that had a life patterned after the voice of God. He was about to leave where he was resident for another country because of the famine they were experiencing in the country where he resided. However, his plan was interrupted by God's voice. I'm intrigued by the fact that God specifically said He will tell him where to dwell. This challenges me because I've had this desire and still desire to have that "hearing relationship" with God. I see this and believe God wants all His loved children to actually have that kind of relationship with Him. God wants to tell everyone of His sons and daughters something, however, not everyone is going to hear Him because not everyone has trained themselves to do so. All the time, for all situations in our lives, the Lord is willing to tell us something. The questio...
