Daniel

Daniel is one of my favorite characters in the bible and I will be sharing something interesting about him today.
Something about his life in Babylon that I think, at some point or the other, we all find ourselves there. So often, we tend to desire a change in our physical state when heaven desires a change of our inward state.

Israel, God's favorite, wyas taken into captivity. Daniel and 3 other Kingdom crazy guys were a part of them and  their decision not to eat the kings meal was an epic one.

These Hebrew young men had begun to do alot of exploits in the land of Babylon.  As at chapter 6,they had
1-Grown to be chubbier and freshly looking than those who chose to eat the kings meal
2-They had prayed in agreement not just to know but interpret the Kings dream
3- Daniel had been promoted into been a leader together with his friends
4- They had proved beyond a doubt to the King Nebuchadnezzar that God in heaven was God above all.
And much more things.
It's interesting that even at this point, nothing was mentioned about Daniel and his friends praying for them to come out of captivity.  He seemed to understand that his location did or does not stop exploits.
We can get so quick to pray ourselves out of a place that God may be intending to build us and showcase his supremacy to the world.

Just incase you have been exhausting yourself over your situation, i put it to you to pause and begin finding out what it is you are there for.  Find out how you could glean from that situation. Prayer; maybe pray about something else but that situation thats not pleasant. You can never go wrong with thanksgiving.  You can ask God to open your eyes, make impressions on your heart about things you could do to fluorish, regardless of the situation of things.

****if this blessed you in any way, please share it with others.

Do have a lovely week ahead.

Peace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Thankfulness

Life can get so boring, especially when you are fixed in a routine, and you're just at that point where all you want to do is break out. I mean, try out something out of the norm, like eat a different kind of food,or have a break from your stressful work,or simply get to see and relate with a whole new set of people. This was somewhat the case with the Israelites in Num11:31-35. Numbers 11:31-35- 31  Now a  wind went out from the  Lord , and it brought quail from the sea and left  them  fluttering near the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and about a day’s journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the ground.  32  And the people stayed up all that day, all night, and all the next day, and gathered the quail (he who gathered least gathered ten  homers); and they spread  them  out for themselves all around the camp.  33  But while the  meat  was  still between ...

God's Speakings.

And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: – Genesis 26:2 Isaac was one of those bible characters that had a life patterned after the voice of God. He was about to leave where he was resident for another country because of the famine they were experiencing in the country where he resided. However, his plan was interrupted by God's voice. I'm intrigued by the fact that God specifically said He will tell him where to dwell. This challenges me because I've had this desire and still desire to have that "hearing relationship" with God. I see this and believe God wants all His loved children to actually have that kind of relationship with Him. God wants to tell everyone of His sons and daughters something, however, not everyone is going to hear Him because not everyone has trained themselves to do so. All the time, for all situations in our lives, the Lord is willing to tell us something. The questio...
