Colossians 2:6-10 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power :
So today, I'm going to be talking about the motivation behind the Christian walk.
What has been your motivation? What has been the motivation behind your christian walk? What is the motivation behind you going to church or leaving that bad habit? What is the reason you should stop going to that place that's totally against the will of God or your growth. What should be the motivation behind letting go of certain things that are not of God?
People come up with philosophies and ideologies of how things should be done. As a result of guilt trip, some put away somethings and endup going back to them. This is because the motivation behind the initial actions were wrong. Convictions and not guilt trips win people into closer walks with God.
As much as there are things that we shouldn't do, places that we shouldn't go, it's important that our motivation behind these things are not the fact that not making them disqualifies us from what Christ did. Understanding the life we have been birth into is the reason we now make certain changes.
What Christ did was total.,complete;not needing anything else to be added or done. The new life defines us as new creations which is the reason we do not do the things we *used* to do that isint a reflection of the new life.
Act. 17:28a- 'For in him we live, and move, and have our being;...'
I believe that this basic understanding strengthens our walk in Christ and we are not been 'bullied' or 'forced' or 'cajoled' into something that looks like a walk with God.
God loves you.
Grace.

The verse 7 of this scripture says '..rooted and built-up in Him and established in the faith...'
My motivation, your moltivation, our moltivation behind life is now Christ's finished works, haven been made an INSIDER 💯💯.
The motivation behind your change of actions and my change of attitude is the finished works of Christ.
