Meddling?

According to the  Webster Dictionary, to meddle means to interest oneself in what is not one's concern. We live in a time and age where compromise is almost the order of the day. And especially because the concept of 'grace' has been  quite extreme, there's been a lopsided way of life. Grace in itself makes us warriors for us to uphold the standard of God  2Tim.2:4 says  Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. Some of us Christians are awear of the things that are not in keeping with truly walking with God and yet continuing in it with the pride of heart that you know God to an extent. And whilst God is a merciful God,youd be a joker to expect him to entrust parts of him to you if  you keep handling your knowledge of him in unrighteousness. There are areas of God and depts of him that we may never be able to access because of this. Our walk with God is suppo...

Thankfulness

Life can get so boring, especially when you are fixed in a routine, and you're just at that point where all you want to do is break out. I mean, try out something out of the norm, like eat a different kind of food,or have a break from your stressful work,or simply get to see and relate with a whole new set of people. This was somewhat the case with the Israelites in Num11:31-35. Numbers 11:31-35- 31  Now a  wind went out from the  Lord , and it brought quail from the sea and left  them  fluttering near the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and about a day’s journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the ground.  32  And the people stayed up all that day, all night, and all the next day, and gathered the quail (he who gathered least gathered ten  homers); and they spread  them  out for themselves all around the camp.  33  But while the  meat  was  still between ...

Witnessing

Its going to be quite a long post but just follow me and we'll get to a good end.😃😄 I want to share with you about ' WITNESSING '. It's probably not an attractive word but it's exactly what stuck to mind when I needed to write this post. Witnessing simply means to proclaim the message of God's kingdom. Another name for this is Evangelism. In my opinion, this is one of the things we Christians think twice before we set out to do. With many thoughts running through our head like : what am I going to say? What if I'm not received well? Its not my thing to just bump into people that way.. what if the person abuses or embarasses  me? Somewhere in our mind, its like we have a fear of been rejected . Well,i think all these are necessary questions and worries, however they are reflections of the mindset we have. Evangelism isint about us persay, its about Christ. It isint about our personality or social status. It shouldn't be about our fears and worries...

Happy New Year.

It's good to write you for the first time in the new year. This time of the year when new decisions are made, new strategies, new resolutions and etc. Whilst all these are very good it's important not to forget what is most important  for the journey ahead. Moses, the superman assigned by God to lead Gods very own people was not about to do so without asking Gods presence to go with him. Exodus 33:15   And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. I want to point your attention to intentionally asking God to go with you into the year. He's always with you no doubt, however there is a side of God that walks with us and we experience when we ask Him to walk with us. James 4:8a NKJV- 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.  You're going to need God in everything you do this year and in as much as He has given us a promise of his presence; Pr.3: 6 says "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths....

Associations.

Good day everyone. I want to share with you today one thing that is very much important in our lives especially in this time and age.  It's about associations. It is not everyone your paths get to cross that are ordained  to be in your life.  It is not everyone dressed in the robe of what you desire that are the originals or that are meant to remain in your life. You see, in this time and age where people dress to impress and speak for respect, we need the wisdom of God and the spirit of discernment to dicifer between who is true and who is not. To dicifer between who should remain in our space/sphereand who shouldn't. Just like a human would put on the Mickey Mouse costume, there are people who create impressions that are not necessarily who they really are, there are also those who seem like should remain around our lives but in the real sense, they're meant to be far from us. King Jehoshaphat was a man who delighted in the ways of God. 2Chronicles. 17:3-6 Sometimes...

GODS PATTERN OF HEALING //PT2

Hello everyone. I hope you have had a great week.  Mine was fine, bless God. Been struggling with laziness to write this post but I'm glad I finally wrote it. I'm excited to share with you these points on the things that happen when our hearts are turned to God. It's beautiful, the things that happen, when we turn our hearts completely to God. Joel. 2:18-32 18  Then the  Lord  was jealous  for his land      and took pity  on his people. 19  The  Lord  replied [ a ]  to them: “I am sending you grain, new wine  and olive oil,      enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you      an object of scorn  to the nations. 20  “I will drive the northern horde  far from you,      pushing it into a parched and barren land; its eastern ranks will drown in the Dead Sea      and its western ranks in t...

GOD'S PATTERN OF HEALING// PT1

Hello everyone. I hope your week has been good? We'll be going on a journey through the book of Joel. I hope to expose certain things about God's pattern of doing things. You would have to pick up your bible to follow closely. God's ways are not the ways of man at all and the book of Joel paints that picture of how things go with God. I mean, the ways of God. I've come to discover that the ways of God remain the same from generation to generation. Though the situations may be different  but God's patterns are the same yesterday, today and forever. For this reason, the people of the land of Judah in the book of Joel were told to make known the ways of God from generation to generation. Joel 1:3 -  "Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation." Things had gone in disarray on the land and it's a reflection somehow of how things happen in our individual lives. A time came in Judah when...
