Loyalty To God and His Word

I had the utmost privilege of sharing God's word in my local church, and I pray it blesses you.

Ruth.1:16-17- 16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!” (NLT)

What does it mean to be a loyal person?

Loyalty means being there for someone through the highs and lows, and staying by their side regardless of the circumstances. Loyalty involves accepting and loving someone for who they are, and not threatening to leave them when things become challenging.

Loyalty is faithfulness or a devotion to a personcountry, group, or cause.
Its looking into something you are convinced you should be doing and staying true to that cause.

TheWord:

Written word and revealed word- Logos and Rhema

logos is used to refer to the constant, written word, which is recorded in the Bible.

Rhema - used to refer to the instant, personal speaking of God.

Both logos and rhema are crucial to our Christian life. God uses His logos Word to speak His rhema word to us. And God’s living, instant speaking always corresponds with and never contradicts His written Word.

So the more we read the written Word, even storing it up in us by memorizing and musing over it, the more God can speak instant words to us. His instant words in any given situation guide us and turn us to Him when we take heed to them.

ü Isaiah 61:1==Luke.4:17-18

Jesus found his word for his season, his existence from the written word. He found a rhema from a logos.

ü In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God jn1:1-5…

1. He was in the Beginning with GOD

2. In Him was life… I am the was, the truth and the life (John.14:6) and that life is the word

3. This life is the life of men

Jesus is the word, you can’t claim to be loyal to Jesus and ignore the word

Loyalty to Jesus starts from Loyalty to the word.

ü Martha, Mary and Jesus

Luke.10:38-42

38 As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. 39 Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. 40 But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me.”

41 But the Lord said to her, “My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! 42 There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her.”

What does it mean to be loyal to the word?(From bible examples)

ü Commit to the word: The Apostles: ACT.6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

ü Believe against all odds: Abraham - hoped against hope- Romans.4:18-22

ü To treasure it and to ponder upon it: Mary- she kept all these things in her heart Luke.2:19- But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

ü To accept it as your reality-  Mary said be it unto me according to your word- Luke 1:38

ü To hide it in our heart- David- thy word have I heed in my heart that I may not sin against thee Ps. 1119:11

Why Loyalty to the word/Implications of being loyal to the word

 1. Its Superiority- God has magnified His word above all His name. (Ps 138:2)

2. Illumination and Understanding:

a)  Thy word is a light unto my feet and a light to my path- Ps.119:105,

b)  The entrance of thy word giveth light ps119:130

c) When I walked with your light through darkness- God’s friendship will be over out tabernacle

3. Good Success- Joshua 1:8-Meditate on it day and night…

4. Revelation- God revealed himself to Samuel by the word-  1Sam.3:21

5. Shaped mindset- Romans.12:2

6. To make us grounded- 2Tim.3:16-17

2 Timothy 3:16-17 New Living Translation (NLT)

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work

2 Timothy 3:16-17 King James Version (KJV)

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

7. Intimacy- Draw near unto God and He will draw near unto you. James 4:8

8. Healing and Deliverance- He sent his word and healed them and deliver them from their destruction. Psalm. 107:20

 Conclusion

Word Stones: David and Goliath, there’s a word for every Goliath. Get the word for every season and use it.

May God bless us all in Jesus name, Amen!!!

Faithfulness

Today I want to share something about faithfulness. Faithfulness, according to google,  is the concept of unfailingly remaining  loyal  to someone or something, and putting that loyalty into consistent practice regardless of extenuating circumstances. Literally, it is the state of being full of  faith  in the sense of steady devotion to a person, thing or concept. In my understanding, it is being consistently committed to a course or person regardless of what comes your way. I want to focus on the things that we have been called to do or the things that we find per time to do. Sometimes we can get so lackadaisical about stuff when no one is watching or when others are playing their part. Sometimes its really because we don’t have enough drive to do what we really want to do. Sometimes, factors beyond our control can be the cause. Sometimes its because we have not exactly decided to take up responsibility by ourselves. Sometimes we don’t have knowledge ...

My Beloved

If you would let me walk through the corners of your heart   I will take the thorns away with anesthesia enough to take you through I will shine my light in the path for your eyes to see and your feet to walk I will wrap you round in the warmth of my embrace From the cold that gives you frost bite in the feet and a chest pain even on a warm day I know you let some love in the left you broken And now it’s difficult to catch the pieces that remain because your strength is gone I see it all in your eyes, Even though you try to make it seem like you have it all together You have been bought with a prize I took all the brakes in my heart to see you whole I got striped and left in the cold so you could find warmth in me (would be hid in me and stay warm) I’m not about to let you go through all that trauma (again). I did it already, for you, for all So that when you pass through the rivers, you will have me around When you pass though waters, it ...

CHRIST INSIDER✔️✅✔️

Colossians 2:6-10  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power : So today, I'm going to be talking about the motivation behind the Christian walk.  What has been your motivation? What has been the motivation behind your christian walk? What is the motivation behind you going to church or leaving that bad habit? What is the reason you should stop going to that place that's totally against the will of God or your growth.  What should be the motivation behind letting go of certain things that are not of God? People come up with philosophies an...
