Associations.

Good day everyone.
I want to share with you today one thing that is very much important in our lives especially in this time and age.  It's about associations.
It is not everyone your paths get to cross that are ordained  to be in your life.  It is not everyone dressed in the robe of what you desire that are the originals or that are meant to remain in your life.
You see, in this time and age where people dress to impress and speak for respect, we need the wisdom of God and the spirit of discernment to dicifer between who is true and who is not. To dicifer between who should remain in our space/sphereand who shouldn't. Just like a human would put on the Mickey Mouse costume, there are people who create impressions that are not necessarily who they really are, there are also those who seem like should remain around our lives but in the real sense, they're meant to be far from us.
King Jehoshaphat was a man who delighted in the ways of God. 2Chronicles. 17:3-6
Sometimes, It is not that these people are bad in themselves but they are  not to occupy the spaces we give to them in our lives.
The devil has a way of bringing deception in subtle ways and if as a child of God, you are not careful you may fall prey. This is one of the reason the Bible says 'watch and pray'.
King Jehoshaphat associated himself with King Ahab (who had a track record of dishonoring God)in chapter 18 of 2Chronicles. He persuaded him to go to war with him, and as the case would be, they sought the prophets to know whether or not they should proceed together.
400 prophets had decreed that they could go for battle, however, King Jehoshaphat was not convinced. I believe he was troubled in his mind to have asked whether there was another prophet of God in Israel who could consult God for them.

2 Chronicles 18:6  But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

The new prophet confirms that King Ahab shouldn't go, however, they rebeled.
How often do we ignore the nurgings of the Spirit of God simply because our mind is made-up about what we want.
It's interesting that the 400 prophets actually functioned under the influence of a spirit of deception;which is centrally how the devil works.

2 Chronicles 18:6, 22  But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee.

Maybe he had a legit reason to associate with King Ahab, however, in the ground scheme of things, King Ahab was not one he should have given an open hand to centrally because they had different priorities (the God factor).
As a child of God this is where you have to be careful, because, some Christians would argue that we are not to judge others and so we are to receive everyone, well, not if their presence in your airspace would suffocate the connection you have with your source of oxygen.

2 Chronicles 19:1-4  And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.

God sends a seer to King Jehoshaphat to make him realize that he can't just be in active association with just anyone.

How then do we ensure we don't fall prey of Satan's deception? By constantly asking the HolySpirit to help us:

Jn 16:13-Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

John 14:16 Amp
Jn. 14:16(AMP)
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever—

PS. 46:1- God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

God bless you.
Peace

Faithfulness

Today I want to share something about faithfulness. Faithfulness, according to google,  is the concept of unfailingly remaining  loyal  to someone or something, and putting that loyalty into consistent practice regardless of extenuating circumstances. Literally, it is the state of being full of  faith  in the sense of steady devotion to a person, thing or concept. In my understanding, it is being consistently committed to a course or person regardless of what comes your way. I want to focus on the things that we have been called to do or the things that we find per time to do. Sometimes we can get so lackadaisical about stuff when no one is watching or when others are playing their part. Sometimes its really because we don’t have enough drive to do what we really want to do. Sometimes, factors beyond our control can be the cause. Sometimes its because we have not exactly decided to take up responsibility by ourselves. Sometimes we don’t have knowledge ...

My Beloved

If you would let me walk through the corners of your heart   I will take the thorns away with anesthesia enough to take you through I will shine my light in the path for your eyes to see and your feet to walk I will wrap you round in the warmth of my embrace From the cold that gives you frost bite in the feet and a chest pain even on a warm day I know you let some love in the left you broken And now it’s difficult to catch the pieces that remain because your strength is gone I see it all in your eyes, Even though you try to make it seem like you have it all together You have been bought with a prize I took all the brakes in my heart to see you whole I got striped and left in the cold so you could find warmth in me (would be hid in me and stay warm) I’m not about to let you go through all that trauma (again). I did it already, for you, for all So that when you pass through the rivers, you will have me around When you pass though waters, it ...

CHRIST INSIDER✔️✅✔️

Colossians 2:6-10  As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power : So today, I'm going to be talking about the motivation behind the Christian walk.  What has been your motivation? What has been the motivation behind your christian walk? What is the motivation behind you going to church or leaving that bad habit? What is the reason you should stop going to that place that's totally against the will of God or your growth.  What should be the motivation behind letting go of certain things that are not of God? People come up with philosophies an...
