Gods word as our reality

If anything would go through our spirit to our soul and then to reality,its going to pass through our mind. And if anything is going to have an impact on the spirit it would go through the mind. And so the mind is the place where a thing really is made or mared. It's where we either get an headway or remain stranded/on the same spot/can't see a way. It's the battlefield as it's often put.
2Cor.10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

This passage makes us to see that imaginations and thoughts have a way of exhausting themselves above the knowledge of God in our minds and we are the ones to do the job of making sure the word of God is the status quo of our mind...finding out what the word of God says and making it preeminence over and above any other thought. re-enforcing what the word of God says.

Capturing God's idea(word) in our mind and using it to redefine things around. And so we must constantly remind ourselves of God's word everytime wrong(negative) imaginations come in.
The word of God as our mind set puts us in the right mental and emotional state.
For example, God gives you a promise concerning a particular thing,but your mind keeps saying something else and your eye keeps seeing something else,how to cast down the imagination is to remind yourself of the word and insist that it becomes your mindset ,so that your perspective is renewed and your mind is alert for the NEW. You plunge in to every previously unfavorable situation with a new idea(God's word). Like he says,he will straighten up the crooked paths and you just realise theres someone you have been having issues relating with...Pam! You place that call with an UNDERSTANDING...That the crooked relationship is about to be made straight. Now this is #faith.

If this post blessed you in anyway,please make do to share.
God bless You.😃

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Loyalty To God and His Word

I had the utmost privilege of sharing God's word in my local church, and I pray it blesses you.   Ruth.1:16-17- 16  But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.  17  Wherever you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the  Lord  punish me severely if I allow anything but death to separate us!”  (NLT)   v  Introduction v  What does it mean to be loyal to the word?(From bible examples) v  Why Loyalty to the word/ Implications of being loyal to the word v  Conclusion v Introduction What does it mean to be a loyal person? Loyalty means being there for someone through the highs and lows, and staying by their side regardless of the circumstances. Loyalty involves accepting and loving someone for who they are, and not threatening to leave them when things become challenging.   Loyal...

The Blessings of KINDNESS

I find it an absolute delight to discover things in the scripture and share. It's such a beautiful thing for me.   The just shall live by faith is what scripture says ,  and our faith walk is to be guided by the word of God. Today, I'll be sharing something I found in  the bible steers God on our behalf. Here  it is :   Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. The Lord protects them and   keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies. The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health. Psalms 41:1-‬3 NLT   Certain things stood out in this passage, and they are : 1. "kind to the poor" 2. "The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble." 3. "The Lord protects them. 4. "and keeps them alive." 5. "He gives them prosperity in the land" 6. "and rescues them from their enemies." 7. "The Lord nurses them when th...
