Step Down and Step Up - 1

Often times we are busy with one thing or the other and sometimes feel less accomplished(fulfilled).  I (beg to say) that sometimes it’s because there are somethings that we have taken up responsibility for that we really shouldn’t. Somethings that are not exactly as important as what we were really made for.

Some of the time we actually know these things that we aren’t meant to be living in at the moment. They are not necessarily ‘bad’ or negative in the real sense but definitely would slow you down from progressing in your course.
If you don’t step down from them, they’ll keep you from stepping up to the life you are meant to live. The life that brings fullness and satisfaction.
I believe that God desires for us to live full lives, however there are decisions we have to make and stick to in order to experience the fullness of life God has for us.
The children of Eli in the bible had several things they were involved with but in the midst of all these they failed in doing the most important things God had for their lives. Samuel on the other hand chose to pay attention to what he knew God would have him do and things turned out differently for both parties.
Some of these decisions are in the things we do on daily basis and even in major life decisions.  Some of these decisions are not the easiest to make however life will be a whole lot easier or rather better if we do.
I hope you have a beautiful week ahead!!
Xx
Grace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

Hello people,i've got something new for us today.  Its a guest post from a sister from another mother, dated back to sometime in August.  I'm sure you'll be blessed in some way.๐Ÿ˜ƒ.It blessed me. Enjoy the read๐Ÿ˜˜. *******Hi Everyone, It's an awesome privilege to be here sharing with you guys. This blog has been a blessing to me personally and I'm so proud of what Dr Grace ๐Ÿ˜is doing here. She invited me to share from my heart and I have been pondering on what to share because I like to avoid situations like this ๐Ÿ˜ƒ but God keeps pushing me and breaking my walls. I was at a hangout for young leaders yesterday and it was an awesome time in God's presence with God's people. One thing I've learnt in recent times is the beauty of growing together with power minds chasing after Christ and making an impact in our world for the kingdom. In these days and times, a whole lot is going on and we cannot run this race alone. We need a support system to help us g...

Fan to Flame

It’s interesting how life comes in phases, and each one can make you a shadow of the previous in various aspects of life, because of the emphasis of different seasons. There’s definitely someone reading this and it appears like a lot of your efforts and attention is on your family and its smooth running. On the other hand, your career may be taking the most of your concentration in this season, attaining mastery and relevance. It’s interesting how for different persons, God plants one or two people who tend to bring to the fore how that certain things should not be buried in the midst of life’s activities. Paul sends a letter to Timothy to highlight an important aspect of his existence, which was to paying attention to the deposits of God's Spirit in him. This was highlighted in the scripture below: 2Tim. 1:6 (NIV) . " For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  7 For the Spirit God gave us does not ...
