Step Down and Step Up - 1

Often times we are busy with one thing or the other and sometimes feel less accomplished(fulfilled).  I (beg to say) that sometimes it’s because there are somethings that we have taken up responsibility for that we really shouldn’t. Somethings that are not exactly as important as what we were really made for.

Some of the time we actually know these things that we aren’t meant to be living in at the moment. They are not necessarily ‘bad’ or negative in the real sense but definitely would slow you down from progressing in your course.
If you don’t step down from them, they’ll keep you from stepping up to the life you are meant to live. The life that brings fullness and satisfaction.
I believe that God desires for us to live full lives, however there are decisions we have to make and stick to in order to experience the fullness of life God has for us.
The children of Eli in the bible had several things they were involved with but in the midst of all these they failed in doing the most important things God had for their lives. Samuel on the other hand chose to pay attention to what he knew God would have him do and things turned out differently for both parties.
Some of these decisions are in the things we do on daily basis and even in major life decisions.  Some of these decisions are not the easiest to make however life will be a whole lot easier or rather better if we do.
I hope you have a beautiful week ahead!!
Xx
Grace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

GRACE & PROSPERITY

Yesterday (11/06/2021), I had the great honor and privilege to share the word of God with his people and this word really blessed me as well. This is why I am deciding to share it on here, so that, by God’s grace someone might be blessed by it. My home church has this monthly theme we work with and the word for the month is ‘covenant month of prosperity’. The word that was laid in my heart was as touching the prosperity that emanates from God. First of all, I will attempt to define Prosperity.   According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, it is the condition of being successful or thriving, especially economically. I define it as a condition or state of increasing or moving forward in one or more areas of life. Gene.26:13 paints of picture of prosperity. ‘ The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;' (nkjv) It is true that prosperity largely has been seen to be in the area of finances, but I believe so much that it is beyond mon...

God still does mighty things.

God is still doing mighty things. I love that I am actually saying this. I write this as my reality, my definition of God in my reality.   This year 2020 has really been a difficult year for the world at large because of the COVID-19 pandemic. EVERY single person had to have a lifestyle change in some way or the other. Worst still, many lost their lives, which is so saddening. But what does God expect of us in this season? Something that is not so in order with the human reasoning, which is ‘ thanksgiving’   1Thes5:18 says- ‘In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’   I am really just thankful for the good, the not so good and everything In-between.   I am so much grateful for the possibilities that God gave me to crown up this year. This last quarter of the year is really when I have come to know God in an amazing way. Basically, my story is like that of the three Hebrew boys in ….Dan.3:16-18. who were desirous of stayi...
