I’m sure you are wondering by now, what does focus N or P
mean?
Yeah,its worth the think.
I’m sure you are familiar with the way a camera works, at
least to some extent. The android phone/iPhone users can own this complement.
You’ld often realize that some pictures don’t come out
‘fine’ or clear because whoever was behind the phone did not focus it right.
Having seen the picture, you be like ‘omg this picture is blurry’.
How many have friends who take blurry pictures (winks.)- this
is by the way.(I do that sometimes).
Youl’d realize that one or two taps on your android phone
makes the image much clearer.
For my photographer folks, a gentle turn of that Nickon
D3300’s focus ring and or zoom ring
would give a perfect picture.
Just like a camera can produce both positive and negative
images, so also our minds, based on our focus.
In Numbers 13:30-31, Caleb and Joshua happen to bring back a good
report as compared to the report of the other representatives that were told to
go spy the promise land by Moses. For this reason, only Caleb and Joshua were the only ones from age 20 and above, simply because
they saw something different about the land. They had a different focus. Probably they saw a land that they could raise a building on whilst the others saw a land with no building. They had a focus P and not a focus N.
We can decide to place our focus on what has/is going wrong
or what has/is going right. We can choose to put our trust in God for things to turn out in our favor or to keep worrying ourselves out. We can choose to see obstacles or opportunities.
The story of the different reports brought from the promise land makes me see
that even when things are obviously not going the way we desire,we don't have to let that define the image we carry in out minds.
I challenge you today to have a focus P for every situation that may come your way, that you may experience great possibilities.

Focus P all the way
