Junked Up?

The other day I wanted to upload something online with my phone but I couldn’t because I didn’t have enough space.

So I went through my pictures and tried to delete some of them. I realized that there were a lot of pictures to be deleted -from the ones I had no idea when they entered my phone, to the ones I saw no relevance to. Haven deleted them all, I had space enough to not just upload my picture but even some more extra space.

Sometimes we have ourselves clogged by many junks. Sometimes they get attached to our live without us knowing. At the end of the day, we carry a lot of baggage and junk that occupy the spaces we need to do better things with our lives and energy.

We end up not having space enough for ourselves in our own lives. Not because we don’t have the ability to free ourselves from them but because we have not given thought to them.

I realized it’s a continuous thing that’ll always have to be done.

I hope you give thought to things you allow in your life; and have a great week ahead.

Grace.

Doors Do Open

Have you ever felt like you have exhausted all of your options and you can’t seem to find a way out?  Or you know that there is more that can be out of a case you are on? I can’t imagine what the widow whose husband left some debts for her to pay before he died must have gone through. Wait, you think all that happened is all there is. In the sense, you have pressed all your buttons and made all your moves. Knocked all the doors you know and made the calls. You now think its over. You think there’s no way out again? Be there! You seem to have forgotten so quick that God is the one that makes things happen. Look at the widow whose husband left her in debt. She was broke. No money no possession my sons up for sale kindof broke. Her two sons were going to be taken captive to pay for the debts that was on ground. Of course she was devastated. She had no possession to sell to get some money. The only thing she knew to do was to go meet Elisha who her husband served with. ...

God still does mighty things.

God is still doing mighty things. I love that I am actually saying this. I write this as my reality, my definition of God in my reality.   This year 2020 has really been a difficult year for the world at large because of the COVID-19 pandemic. EVERY single person had to have a lifestyle change in some way or the other. Worst still, many lost their lives, which is so saddening. But what does God expect of us in this season? Something that is not so in order with the human reasoning, which is ‘ thanksgiving’   1Thes5:18 says- ‘In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’   I am really just thankful for the good, the not so good and everything In-between.   I am so much grateful for the possibilities that God gave me to crown up this year. This last quarter of the year is really when I have come to know God in an amazing way. Basically, my story is like that of the three Hebrew boys in ….Dan.3:16-18. who were desirous of stayi...

Thankfulness

Life can get so boring, especially when you are fixed in a routine, and you're just at that point where all you want to do is break out. I mean, try out something out of the norm, like eat a different kind of food,or have a break from your stressful work,or simply get to see and relate with a whole new set of people. This was somewhat the case with the Israelites in Num11:31-35. Numbers 11:31-35- 31  Now a  wind went out from the  Lord , and it brought quail from the sea and left  them  fluttering near the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and about a day’s journey on the other side, all around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the ground.  32  And the people stayed up all that day, all night, and all the next day, and gathered the quail (he who gathered least gathered ten  homers); and they spread  them  out for themselves all around the camp.  33  But while the  meat  was  still between ...
