Treasures

 Isiah45:3 {NLT}

And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—

    secret riches.

I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord,

the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.

The word of God makes us to know that the earth, the world, as a whole is covered with darkness, according to Isaiah 60:2a - "See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, "

This automatically means that before anyone was born at all, the earth swam in darkness and so by default, we live in a world that is dark. But scripture says that light shines in darkness and darkness can't comprehend it. Jesus is this Light that shines in darkness. If you do not have Jesus in your life, I urge you to ask Him in now to be your Lord and Savior.

The anchor scripture for today let's us into an important matter, that there are treasures hidden in this dark world, that only God can reveal to an individual. Now, this doesn't have to be some 22 karate gold piece, No!  This treasures come in different forms as: direction on what to do next in life, what to say to a certain person, how to respond to a certain issue, the course to study in the university, etc. It may be an idea or an opportunity, it may be a new material you need to come across in order to have a solution to the challenge you have had for a while. Whatever the darkness may be there is a light for it. God says He will give it to His own; to me, to you!

1.He makes a promise.

2. He gives us an invitation.  Invitation to ask for the treasures that our heart so desires. What is it that has been the situation in your heart, I bring you this invitation that God has given in His word. I invite you to ask Him for the treasures you so earnestly desire. I invite you to ask Him for that which you need but are not even aware that you have need of them.

3. He wants us to come out of where we are right now in our relationship with Him and into a deeper place_ intimacy_so we can know that He is the God of Israel. He wants us to know a different side of Him, one we have never known or one we can know better.

God promises to give us the treasures that are hidden in darkness. Today's post is to show you the treasures (some of it) in that verse, and I trust that the Spirit of God would search out stuffs from the deep of God so you SEE in this dark world!

I love you and God bless you.

Peace.

Faithfulness

Today I want to share something about faithfulness. Faithfulness, according to google,  is the concept of unfailingly remaining  loyal  to someone or something, and putting that loyalty into consistent practice regardless of extenuating circumstances. Literally, it is the state of being full of  faith  in the sense of steady devotion to a person, thing or concept. In my understanding, it is being consistently committed to a course or person regardless of what comes your way. I want to focus on the things that we have been called to do or the things that we find per time to do. Sometimes we can get so lackadaisical about stuff when no one is watching or when others are playing their part. Sometimes its really because we don’t have enough drive to do what we really want to do. Sometimes, factors beyond our control can be the cause. Sometimes its because we have not exactly decided to take up responsibility by ourselves. Sometimes we don’t have knowledge ...

GOD'S PATTERN OF HEALING// PT1

Hello everyone. I hope your week has been good? We'll be going on a journey through the book of Joel. I hope to expose certain things about God's pattern of doing things. You would have to pick up your bible to follow closely. God's ways are not the ways of man at all and the book of Joel paints that picture of how things go with God. I mean, the ways of God. I've come to discover that the ways of God remain the same from generation to generation. Though the situations may be different  but God's patterns are the same yesterday, today and forever. For this reason, the people of the land of Judah in the book of Joel were told to make known the ways of God from generation to generation. Joel 1:3 -  "Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation." Things had gone in disarray on the land and it's a reflection somehow of how things happen in our individual lives. A time came in Judah when...

My Beloved

If you would let me walk through the corners of your heart   I will take the thorns away with anesthesia enough to take you through I will shine my light in the path for your eyes to see and your feet to walk I will wrap you round in the warmth of my embrace From the cold that gives you frost bite in the feet and a chest pain even on a warm day I know you let some love in the left you broken And now it’s difficult to catch the pieces that remain because your strength is gone I see it all in your eyes, Even though you try to make it seem like you have it all together You have been bought with a prize I took all the brakes in my heart to see you whole I got striped and left in the cold so you could find warmth in me (would be hid in me and stay warm) I’m not about to let you go through all that trauma (again). I did it already, for you, for all So that when you pass through the rivers, you will have me around When you pass though waters, it ...
